Brimlight

Refunds

Last updated 22 October 2026

The short version. Try it free for 14 days first. If you buy it and it's not for you, ask within 14 days and you get your money back. No questions.

Try before you buy

Brimlight has a free 14-day trial with every feature, so you can be sure it works on your Mac before paying.

14 days, no questions

If you are not happy with Brimlight, ask for a refund within 14 days of your purchase and you will get the full amount back. You don't need to give a reason. I may decline repeated refund requests from the same person.

How to ask

Purchases are handled by Paddle, the merchant of record. You can ask for a refund through the link in your Paddle receipt email, at paddle.net, or by emailing me at [email protected] with the email you bought with. Refunds go back to the original payment method; how long it takes depends on your bank.

Once a purchase is refunded, its licence ends, and its key may be blocked in a later update.

After 14 days

If something is badly wrong after 14 days, for example Brimlight stops working on your Mac and I can't fix it, write to me anyway. I'll look at it fairly. Your rights under your local consumer law always apply, whatever this page says.

Free licences

The free lifetime licences for the first 100 people cost nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
